Patient Services Specialist

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, prepare paperwork for patient visits.
• Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls, make appointments.
• Perform cashier duties including posting of charges, collection of co-payments/co-insurance, and balances due.
• Follow process for release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms completion as requested.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prefer minimum of one year experience in medical clinic setting.
• Working knowledge of insurance and Epic/EMR background preferred.
• Medical terminology skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
