Medical Receptionist - Physical Therapy
OrthoArizona is now hiring skilled Medical Receptionists to join their elite team of renowned healthcare providers. This position is available in Arcadia, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone in prompt, courteous, and helpful manner, screening, and routing calls as needed, creating phone notes in the patient electronic medical record, and/or providing information to patients
• Be the first point of contact for our patients: greet, check in, check out, and provide excellent patient service
• Manage schedule, assist with insurance verification and other physical therapy insurance requirements
• Support physical therapy staff by keeping the front desk organized and running smoothly
• Assist in indexing patient documents to the correct patient chart
• Assist in routing electronic faxes to the correct location folder and/or uploading to the correct patient chart
• Assist with other duties as needed during down time
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent customer/patient service
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Working knowledge of computer programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understand/perform training on practice management software
• Expand knowledge of practice management software as updates occur
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures
• Minimum qualifications: High School diploma or GED
• Preferred experience: At least one year of medical office experience, Bilingual, Basic phone handling skills - Contact Center experience, Basic knowledge of insurance plans and the specialty referral process
