Patient Services Representative - Pain and Rehab Medicine

About the role

BayCare Clinic's mission is to provide measurably superior specialty medical services to our patients. BayCare Clinic Pain and Rehab Medicine is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our team in Green Bay. This is a position that offers some remote work but requires being in the office about half of the time. Ideal candidates are compassionate, thoughtful, and want to contribute positively to our patients' experiences.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks in patients.
• Assists patients in filling out patient forms.
• Answers phones, takes messages, and routes calls when necessary.
• Develops patient charts.
• Enters pertinent information into patient charts.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Collections co-payments from patients.
• Performs general office duties.
• Respects and maintains confidentiality.
• Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.

Requirements

• A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
• Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or Office Assistant is appropriate.
• Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.
• Possesses strong desktop computer skills.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred.
• Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
