Patient Services Representative / Medical Assistant - Part-Time

About the Role

As a Patient Services Representative / Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients feel supported and cared for from their very first visit through every step of their journey.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and accurately check them into EHR using established patient registration check-in protocols.
• Ensure documentation is appropriately completed and patient payment is received per insurance.
• Work with clinic team members to maintain the daily schedule.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Greet, room, and take vitals of patients.
• Ensure clinic patient appointments run in a timely manner, communicating necessary information to Physicians and APPs before they see patients.
• Sanitize exam rooms after each patient.
• Sanitize equipment used in clinics, including instruments, scopes, and specialty procedure equipment.
• Rotate/stock the pharmaceutical closet and dispose of expired medication.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and non-sample pharmaceuticals.
• Assist with additional clinic responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant experience preferred, such as CMA (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or a minimum of two years of working experience.
• Experience working with insurance preferred.
• Tech-savvy with experience in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Experience working with performance-based goals or metrics.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work at and train at our Oak Creek and Pleasant Prairie clinics as needed.

Schedule

This is a part-time position working Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Enjoy weekends and evenings for yourself.

Pay

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
