Patient Services Representative - CCP Express Care Greensburg

About the role

UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Casual Patient Services Representative to support the offices in Greensburg. Weekend and evening availability required to support the hours of operation. Medical Experience Preferred.

Clinic Hours

• Monday–Friday: 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, assist with check-in, collect copayments, and update information
• Arrange follow-up appointments and connect patients to services
• Help patients navigate the healthcare system and provide clear instructions
• Register patients in Biometrics and promote MyUPMC portal
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to resources
• Verify insurance, obtain consent signatures, and follow HIPAA regulations
• Handle phone calls, scan records, and perform office duties

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent

Preferred Experience

• Experience with personal computer-based applications, various office equipment, and proficient typing skills
• Two years of experience in a medical, billing, fiscal, or customer service role
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems
