Patient Services Representative - Cardiology

About the Role

BayCare Clinic Cardiology is seeking a compassionate, thoughtful Patient Services Representative to join our team in Green Bay, WI. This role contributes to a positive experience for all patients within a collaborative, physician-owned clinic offering comprehensive cardiovascular care.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
No holidays or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks in patients.
• Assists patients in filling out patient forms.
• Answers phones, takes messages, and routes calls when necessary.
• Develops and maintains patient charts.
• Enters pertinent information into patient charts.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Collects co-payments from patients.
• Performs general office duties.
• Respects and maintains confidentiality.
• Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent; post-high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or Office Assistant is appropriate.
• Working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.
• Strong desktop computer skills.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred.
• Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
