Patient Services Representative - Bradenton Family

About the role

As the first person who greets our patients with a smile, you will check in patients for their appointments, schedule any needed follow-up appointments, answer calls to schedule appointments, address questions about our services and hours, and call patients to schedule future and same-day appointments.

The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is responsible for providing friendly, courteous, professional, and informative service to MCR’s patients seeking to schedule appointments, requiring referrals, or needing other information or services. The PSR ensures a caring and compassionate environment and delivers an Exceptional Experience to Everyone Every Time.

The PSR participates in a smooth front office operation and is accountable for meeting Time of Service Collections goals, conducting Pre-Visit verification and confirmation, and end-of-day reconciliation. Proficiency with EHR programs and procedures is required, along with the ability to multi-task throughout the day.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
• Healthcare experience (preferred)
