About the Role
The University Counseling Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Patient Services Representative to serve as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors seeking mental health services. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and confidential environment where every individual feels respected and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors. As a member of our team, you will help ensure the smooth daily operation of the University Counseling Center by providing exceptional customer service, coordinating appointments, managing front desk operations, and supporting our clinicians and staff. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating empathy, discretion, and a commitment to student well-being.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors seeking mental health services.
- Provide exceptional customer service in a welcoming, supportive, and confidential environment.
- Coordinate appointments and manage front desk operations.
- Support clinicians and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 12 months of experience in a customer service role.
Pay
Targeted pay range of $13.00–$15.91 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
