Patient Services Representative

Walk-in interviews at the Washoe County Job Fair: Monday, August 24, 2026, 11:00am–2:00pm at the Reno/Sparks Convention Center, 4590 S Virginia St, Reno NV 89502.

About the role

You will be the first and last employee our patients interact with during their visit. Your warmth and attention to detail help ease patient nerves, ensure accurate clinical information, and handle correct billing—all essential to delivering a great patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Check-in/check-out patients and schedule follow-up appointments
• Accurately enter patient demographic information in electronic medical records
• Scan photo IDs and insurance cards; verify insurance coverage
• Collect applicable co-pays and update billing information
• Balance money drawers at the end of each day
• Maintain calm and efficient patient flow through the clinics

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Experience using computer systems and applications, including data entry and typing

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience performing reception duties
