About the Role

Our Patient Services Representatives are the trusted human touchpoint between patients, providers, and payers, ensuring no one gets lost in the system.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through appointment scheduling, insurance eligibility, billing inquiries, and care coordination.
• Resolve issues related to patient records, referrals, prescriptions, and medical documentation with empathy and precision.
• Use CRM and EHR platforms to update patient information, track communication history, and flag urgent needs to clinical teams.
• Collaborate with care coordinators and billing specialists to ensure accurate service delivery and reduce patient friction.
• Document all patient interactions clearly and comply with HIPAA and company privacy protocols without exception.
• Continuously improve patient experience by identifying recurring pain points and recommending process enhancements.

Requirements

• CRM software (Salesforce, Zendesk, Maxient, or similar)
• EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, AthenaHealth, or equivalent)
• Health insurance verification
• HIPAA compliance
• Call center operations
• Appointment scheduling platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with telehealth platforms (Doxy.me, Zoom for Healthcare, etc.)
• Medical terminology certification (CMAA or similar)
• Experience in Medicaid/Medicare enrollment systems
