Patient Services Representative - ASI Pain Management

About the role

The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is responsible for friendly, courteous, professional, and informative service to MCR's patients seeking to schedule appointments, requiring referrals, or needing other information or services. The PSR provides a caring and compassionate environment to patients and ensures an Exceptional Experience to Everyone Every Time.

Responsibilities

• Be the first person who greets patients with a smile
• Check in patients for their appointments and schedule any needed follow-up appointments
• Answer calls to schedule appointments
• Answer questions about services and hours
• Call patients to schedule future and same-day appointments
• Participate in a smooth front office operation
• Meet Time of Service Collections goals
• Conduct Pre-Visit verification and confirmation
• Perform end-of-day reconciliation
• Be proficient with EHR programs and procedures as they relate to responsibilities
• Remain focused and able to multitask throughout the day

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
• Healthcare experience preferred
