Patient Services Representative - ASI Cardiology

About the Role

As a Patient Service Representative - ASI, you will be the first person who greets our patients with a smile. This role is responsible for friendly, courteous, professional, and informative service to MCR's patients seeking to schedule appointments, requiring referrals, or needing other information or services. The PSR provides a caring and compassionate environment to our patients and ensures an Exceptional Experience to Everyone Every Time.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients for their appointments and schedule any needed follow-up appointments
• Answer calls to schedule appointments
• Answer questions about our services and hours
• Call patients to schedule future and same-day appointments
• Participate in a smooth front office operation
• Meet Time of Service Collections goals
• Conduct Pre-Visit verification and confirmation
• Perform end-of-day reconciliation
• Maintain proficiency with EHR programs and procedures as they relate to responsibilities
• Multitask throughout the day

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
• Healthcare experience (preferred)
• Must be focused and able to multitask throughout the day
