About the role
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the initial point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and efficient patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations and workflows
- Interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
- Communicate effectively and professionally using strong verbal and written communication skills
- Use basic computer skills for data entry and word processing
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
- Show empathy, patience, and tact in handling inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail, especially when entering patient information, scheduling appointments, and processing documentation
- Ensure confidentiality and follow privacy policies/procedures
- Work effectively under pressure, handling unexpected situations with professionalism and composure
- Complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training post-hire
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout shifts
- Perform duties involving pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of applicable medical office experience preferred
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing

- Empathy, patience, and tact in handling inquiries and concerns
- Accuracy and attention to detail
