About the role
The Patient Service Representative position at Straub Benioff Medical Center supports the Oncology department by providing clerical and reception responsibilities, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring patients and their families receive warm, friendly, and considerate assistance.
Responsibilities
- Interview, register, admit, update, and create patients' medical records
- Accurately and timely process professional/technical fees generated by department providers
- Perform cash handling and collection
- Act as a liaison between patients and the professional staff in the Oncology department
Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- One (1) year of clerical support in a health care setting or related experience
- Basic computer skills

- Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
