About the role

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the initial point of contact for patients and visitors. The PSR ensures a positive and smooth patient experience by managing front desk operations and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, processing documentation, and managing patient information.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, especially when entering patient information and processing documents.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and visitors, demonstrating empathy, patience, and tact and diplomacy in handling inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies and procedures.
  • Work effectively under pressure, handling unexpected situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Attend and complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training post-hire.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing.
  • Experience: One year of applicable medical office experience preferred.
