About the role
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the initial point of contact for patients and visitors. The PSR ensures a positive and smooth patient experience by managing front desk operations and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, processing documentation, and managing patient information.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, especially when entering patient information and processing documents.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and visitors, demonstrating empathy, patience, and tact and diplomacy in handling inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies and procedures.
- Work effectively under pressure, handling unexpected situations with professionalism and composure.
- Attend and complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training post-hire.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing.
- Experience: One year of applicable medical office experience preferred.
