About the role

This position focuses heavily on customer service for Cooper University Hospital's patients.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality patient scheduling
  • Provide positive telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction
  • Serve as the front-line contact person for all incoming patients
  • Greet, register, schedule, collect point-of-service copays, and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET
  • Be organized, take independent action, and project Cooper’s values to customers and coworkers
  • Serve as a patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination
