Patient Services Coordinator - Virtual

About the role

A Patient Service Coordinator is needed for local clinics. The position involves handling high-volume calls, scheduling, verifying, and communicating with patients across multiple clinic locations. Duties also include addressing service inquiries and participating in special projects.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls for multiple clinic locations
• Schedule appointments and verify patient information
• Communicate with patients regarding clinic needs
• Close care gaps and ensure operational excellence
• Enter accurate patient data into EPIC Dimensions EMR
• Provide virtual clinic support to internal and external customers

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, required
• At least six months of experience in customer service or customer relations, required
• Preferred medical setting experience
• One year of Genesys Cloud phone experience or EPIC Dimensions experience, preferred
• General computer knowledge
• Excellent phone etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle stress
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to resolve issues and manage time effectively
• Must be able to work independently within a team
• Basic medical terminology knowledge, preferred
• Genesys Cloud phone experience, preferred

Qualifications
