Patient Services Coordinator
About the role
The role of Patient Services Coordinator at RMA of New York involves interacting with patients, practicing effective and courteous communication, working the front desk, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, preparing charts, collecting patient payments, and verifying insurance information. Responsibilities

- Preparing charts; consistently ensuring appropriate forms are used
- Collecting patient payments due at the time of service; verifying accurate insurance information
- Using good judgement and taking initiative
Requirements
- A High School Degree, Associates or bachelor's preferred
- Strong verbal and reading skills
- Basic familiarity with computers and office devices
- Familiarity with computer applications (Microsoft Suite)
- Medical office experience is a plus, interest in the field of reproductive medicine a must

Pay
$19.00 to $19.50 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule
Monday through Friday; 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Weekend rotation at the Albee Square location in Brooklyn and three holidays a year
