SynergenX, Low T Center, and HerKare are leading providers of hormone replacement therapy, weight management, and targeted wellness services. We're looking for a Patient Services Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a full-time position at $20/hour with paid training and benefits, and a great opportunity for someone who loves customer service, enjoys working with people, and wants to build or grow a career in the healthcare field.

As a Patient Services Coordinator, you'll be at the center of the patient experience. You'll be one of the first people our patients see when they walk through the door and a key part of keeping the clinic running smoothly. You'll help patients from check-in to check-out, answer questions, coordinate appointments, assist with billing and insurance, collect payments, and support the clinical team throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients with a friendly, professional attitude and create a positive first impression
  • Check patients in and assist with rooming them for appointments
  • Help create a smooth and efficient patient experience from arrival through check-out
  • Review and explain patient billing, insurance coverage, Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and out-of-pocket costs
  • Confidently and compassionately answer patient questions related to insurance and account balances
  • Enter and update patient demographics, insurance information, and account details accurately
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
  • Schedule appointments, direct calls, and take detailed messages when needed
  • Monitor and respond to clinic emails, text messages, and faxes throughout the day
  • Collect and process patient payments accurately
  • Maintain accurate daily End-of-Day records and complete bank deposits twice weekly
  • Assist with bi-monthly inventory and keep clinic supplies organized
  • Keep snacks, supplements, and patient areas stocked and presentable
  • Support providers and clinic staff with administrative and clerical needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings as needed
  • Protect patient confidentiality and remain compliant with HIPAA and clinic policies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree preferred, but not required
  • Previous healthcare, medical office, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable discussing payments, insurance benefits, and patient account information
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information with professionalism
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using email, electronic records, fax systems, and other office technology
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to jump in and help the team
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able to work 2–3 Saturdays per month

Schedule

Clinic Hours:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Saturday availability is required approximately 2–3 Saturdays per month.
