About the role
The Patient Service Representative plays a crucial role in the Structural Heart Clinic at the Heart Institute in Boise. They work closely with physicians and clinical staff to handle patients' administrative needs, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Check in patients for appointments
- Collect patient co-pays
- Answer telephones and take accurate messages
- Schedule appointments
- Check insurance eligibility
- Use EPIC to update required information
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Electronic health record (EHR) experience a plus
- Medical terminology preferred
- Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred

Schedule
The Patient Service Representative works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
