Position Highlights
Position: Patient Service Representative (PSR) - Ortho/Podiatry
Location: 552 S Washington Street, Naperville, IL
Full Time: 40 hours / weekly
Office Hours: Varies Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Required Travel: To surrounding offices when there are call offs for coverage purposes
What You Will Do
- Answers incoming calls
- Schedules appointments
- Greets patients
- Registers new patients in EPIC
- Schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician
- Verifies insurance eligibility and interprets covered benefits
- Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and receiving and recording payments in computer system
- Clinic set-up and other office support
What You Will Need
- A high school diploma or GED
- Keyboard and computer skills
- A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.
- A minimum of three months previous business office OR healthcare based experience
- Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience preferred
- Medical terminology or coding experience
- Bilingual Spanish helpful, but not required

The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
