About the role

The Patient Service Representative plays a crucial role in the Neurology Clinic at Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, ID. This position supports the Neuro providers and ensures that patients have a positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients for appointments
• Collect patient co-pays
• Answer telephones and take accurate messages
• Schedule appointments
• Check insurance eligibility
• Use EPIC to update required information
• Communicate with patients and families
• Provide superior customer service
• Utilize independent decision-making skills

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Electronic health record (EHR) experience a plus
• Mandated immunizations
• Medical terminology preferred
• Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred

This Full-Time position will have a schedule of Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
