Patient Service Representative II - Internal Medicine/Pediatrics - Riverton - FLUENT IN SPANISH

Granger Medical Clinic is looking for an upbeat, friendly, hardworking team member who excels at staying organized and multitasking to join our Patient Service Representative (PSR) team at the front desk of Riverton Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Sports Medicine.

About the role

The ideal candidate will be confident, self-motivated, and above all else, compassionate. Receptionists work closely with patients, physicians, and support staff to provide the best care to each patient. As the first point of contact, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients presenting for medical or other services in a courteous manner.
• Answer telephones in a professional manner.
• Schedule appointments in accordance with established procedures.
• Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with physicians, clinic staff, and patients regarding appointment scheduling and other needs.
• Record all demographic information necessary to contact patients and/or bill insurance carriers for services provided.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficient typing and keyboarding skills.
• Must be a team player and enjoy working with people.
• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English.
• Spanish speaking required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous medical billing or office experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work, requiring lifting up to 10 lbs.
• Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.
• Inside, climate-controlled working conditions.
