Patient Service Representative (Full Time)

About the role

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the initial point of contact for patients and visitors. The PSR ensures a positive and efficient patient experience by managing front desk operations and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Manage front desk operations, including data entry, scheduling appointments, and processing documentation.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, especially when handling patient information and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies and procedures.
• Handle inquiries and concerns with tact and diplomacy, demonstrating empathy and patience.
• Work effectively under pressure, handling unexpected situations with professionalism and composure.
• Attend and complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training post-hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
• Physical requirements: ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, stand and walk during shifts, and perform duties requiring gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.

Qualifications

• One year of applicable medical office experience preferred.
