Patient Service Representative

About the role

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the initial point of contact for patients and visitors. The PSR manages front desk operations and workflows to ensure a positive and seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Manage patient information, schedule appointments, and process documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and visitors, handling inquiries and concerns with tact and diplomacy.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies and procedures.
• Work effectively under pressure, handling unexpected situations with professionalism and composure.
• Attend and complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training post-hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing.
• Experience: One year of applicable medical office experience preferred.
