About the Role

Join our team in Los Gatos, CA. We have an immediate need for a Patient Service Representative.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance
• Scans documents into electronic health record
• Maintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter throughout the day
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments throughout the day
• Schedules follow up appointments as needed
• Orders clinic office supplies
• Sells and tracks cosmetic products
• Distributes mail
• Prepares for next day scheduled appointments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 1+ years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity is preferred
• Proficient in basic computer functions
• Must possess excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills
• Able to learn new software quickly
• Able to operate standard office equipment
• Able to type a minimum of 40 wpm is preferred
• Must possess attention to detail
• Able to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
• Able to respond positively to constructive feedback and direction from supervisors
• Must demonstrate professional appearance and manner at all times
• Must display a friendly, cheerful, tactful, and polite demeanor, and must be compassionate and caring in dealing with others
• Must maintain confidentiality of information

Pay

The base pay range is $24 - $25 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, certification, or training.
