Patient Service Representative

The Kids Dentist is looking for a Patient Service Representative in Mequon, WI to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. The Patient Service Representative will support all staff members and patients, handling inquiries, scheduling, and financial arrangements while maintaining flexibility to assist with various tasks assigned by staff or the Office Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by acknowledging, smiling, and greeting patients upon arrival and dismissal
- Respond to patient questions and concerns according to company policies
- Answer telephones and handle patient inquiries
- Schedule and confirm appointments, maintaining the appointment book
- Follow up on no-shows and appointment cancellations
- Register patients on the sign-in sheet
- Post charges and payments to patient accounts
- Check voicemail on a daily basis
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
Requirements
- Experience working in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office (preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
- Experience answering telephones
- Exceptional customer service skills
Pay
$23.00 to $24.00 per hour
Schedule
- Full-time: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday, 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
