Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Patient Service Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for a healthcare administrative professional with strong patient registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and front office experience in a hospital, outpatient clinic, or medical office setting. As a Patient Service Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, helping create a positive and efficient care experience from check-in through check-out. This position offers the opportunity to work in a patient-focused healthcare environment with a collaborative team, supportive leadership, and a pathway to long-term employment for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Greet patients in person and by phone, provide professional assistance, and help resolve or escalate patient concerns. Complete patient check-in and check-out, collect co-payments, issue receipts, and reconcile payments accurately. Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, benefits, referrals, and authorizations using CS-Link/Epic or similar systems. Schedule appointments, complete patient registration, and maintain accurate patient records. Process patient and provider correspondence while explaining policies, procedures, and services clearly. Compensation And Benefits Pay rate: $26 to $27 per hour. Job type: Temp-to-hire.
