Patient Service Representative- Access Admin
Summary
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) role will greet patients, answer telephones, schedule appointments, and perform other overall general office duties as assigned.

Patient Support Specialist (PSS)
This role is responsible for balancing multiple priorities, including managing inbound calls, completing outbound follow-up, processing referrals, and supporting patients who may be in crisis—ensuring each interaction is handled with accuracy, urgency, and compassion.
PSS team members use strong communication and organizational skills to navigate complex workflows involving scheduling, documentation, and resource coordination while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Working within a high reliability, data-driven environment, the PSS consistently follows established processes, monitors performance metrics, and contributes to efficient, safe, and effective patient access.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: N/A
- Experience: Previous office experience with medical office experience preferred.
Additional Skills/Requirements
- Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
