About the role
The Patient Service Representative assists in ensuring that patients and their families receive warm, friendly, and considerate assistance at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children. This role involves acting as a liaison between patients of all ages and the professional staff of the hospitals and clinics.
Responsibilities
- Answering phones and greeting visitors
- Directing visitors to appropriate departments
- Processing patient registration and insurance information
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed
- Providing general information about the hospital and its services
- Handling correspondence and requests from patients and visitors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of clerical support in a position with public contact or related experience

- Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
