Patient Scheduler, Interventional Radiology, FT, 08A-4:30P M-F

Schedule

Responsible for scheduling patient appointments (surgical, diagnostic therapy and other procedures/treatments).

• Obtains and verifies necessary demographic and insurance information.
• Registers patients and enters data into scheduling systems.
• Maintains records and accounts.
• Provides professional customer service.
• Serves patients by greeting and helping them.

Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare and/or Customer Service setting, Surgery preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Scheduling Systems (i. e. Net Access, Centricity, Pathways Healthcare Scheduling, Chartlinks etc. ).
• Medical Terminology required.
• Experience with high volume calls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $17.27 - $22.45 / hour depending on experience.
