Patient Scheduler - Interventional Radiology

About the role

Schedules procedures/surgery cases for the department in a centralized location. Independently makes decisions in relation to schedule adjustments based upon the policies related to scheduling of cases. Works closely with management team as a resource and for consultation on scheduling conflicts/issues. Schedules cases accurately with complete detail in order to ensure patients are safe.

Responsibilities

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience with Epic EMR
• 1 year of experience with computerized case scheduling for operating rooms or procedure area
• 1 year of recent secretarial experience with medical/surgical terminology in a hospital or medical office setting
