Patient Scheduling

  • Patient identification, registration, and scheduling
  • Completing follow-up and referral work queues
  • Ticket scheduling
  • Communicating with patient care teams
  • Updating guarantor information and verifying insurance eligibility
  • Scheduling services for patients including ancillary and procedure scheduling
  • Handling incoming calls and follow-up work queues
  • Proficiently entering data into the permanent electronic health record
  • Working as part of a care team to provide optimal customer service and clinical outcomes

Qualifications

  • 1 year of clinical healthcare experience
  • 1 year experience as a Patient Scheduler I
  • 1 year experience in a contact/call center

Skills

  • Proficiency in scheduling multiple service lines
  • Experience in a complex, high-call and work queue volume environment
  • Ability to support Population Management, Chronic Disease Management, and ACO initiatives
