Patient Scheduling
- Patient identification, registration, and scheduling
- Completing follow-up and referral work queues
- Ticket scheduling
- Communicating with patient care teams
- Updating guarantor information and verifying insurance eligibility
- Scheduling services for patients including ancillary and procedure scheduling
- Handling incoming calls and follow-up work queues
- Proficiently entering data into the permanent electronic health record
- Working as part of a care team to provide optimal customer service and clinical outcomes
Qualifications
- 1 year of clinical healthcare experience
- 1 year experience as a Patient Scheduler I
- 1 year experience in a contact/call center
Skills
- Proficiency in scheduling multiple service lines
- Experience in a complex, high-call and work queue volume environment
- Ability to support Population Management, Chronic Disease Management, and ACO initiatives
