Patient Scheduler - Diagnostic Imaging
About the role
Schedules patients for all Radiology modalities. Coordinates schedule with Registration, Day Surgery, Cardiologist and Radiologists. Obtains insurance verification, pertinent lab values for imaging exams, and history and physical information. Distributes necessary information to the appropriate Imaging department.
Responsibilities
- Schedules patients for all Radiology modalities.
- Captures and maintains accurate patient information.
- Coordinates schedule with Registration, Day Surgery, Cardiologist and Radiologists.
- Obtains insurance verification, pertinent lab values for imaging exams, and history and physical information.
- Distributes necessary information to the appropriate Imaging department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of administrative experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience in medical office setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
