Patient Safety Program Manager
About the Role
As a Quality Patient Safety Professional, you will develop, implement, and monitor programs to enhance patient safety and drive continuous quality improvement. You will conduct risk assessments, analyze adverse events, identify root causes, and recommend evidence-based strategies. Additionally, you will collaborate with clinical teams and regulators, providing education and guidance on best practices to foster a culture of safety and achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor patient safety programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and analyze adverse events.
- Identify root causes and recommend evidence-based strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and regulators.
- Provide education and guidance on best practices in patient safety and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
- One (1) year of healthcare-related quality management/performance improvement experience (e.g., chart audit, PI team member).
- Three (3) years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Healthcare Quality and Management Certification (HCQM), or Certificate of Professional Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety (CPQPS) within 2 years of employment is required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas upon hire.

Pay
$37.22 - $55.37 per hour.
