Patient Safety Program Manager
About the Role
As a Quality Patient Safety Professional, you will develop, implement, and monitor programs to enhance patient safety and drive continuous quality improvement. You will conduct risk assessments, analyze adverse events, identify root causes, and recommend evidence-based strategies. You will also collaborate with clinical teams and regulators, providing education and guidance on best practices to foster a culture of safety and achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor patient safety and quality improvement programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and analyze adverse events.
- Identify root causes and recommend evidence-based strategies.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and regulators.
- Provide education and guidance on best practices in patient safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
- One (1) year of healthcare-related quality management or performance improvement experience (e.g., chart audit, PI team member, etc.).
- Three (3) years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Healthcare Quality and Management Certification (HCQM), or Certificate of Professional Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety (CPQPS) within 2 years of employment is required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.

Pay
$37.22 - $55.37 per hour.
