Patient Safety Coordinator RN

Role Overview: Coordinates patient safety programs by analyzing patient-related errors, conducting Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), and performing risk assessments based on industry recommendations. Recommends practice changes and policies to mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety. Provides patient safety and risk reduction training, supporting organizational development. Qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.Current Registered Nursing license (Georgia or multi-state compact).Minimum of 2 years’ experience in nursing, adverse event monitoring, or risk management.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong communication, group facilitation, and project management skills. Preferred Skills And Certifications 4+ years in nursing with healthcare quality or patient safety experience.Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and data management.Certifications such as CPHQ or CPPS are advantageous.
