About the role
As a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. From your remote station, you will closely monitor their physical and emotional well-being and communicate concerns in real time—empowering the care team to respond quickly.
Responsibilities
- Watch patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
- Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team to intervene quickly and protect patients
- Document patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift
- Honor patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times
- Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

About the facility
HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility in Okeechobee County offering inpatient and outpatient services. We are licensed by Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration as a Primary Stroke Center and provide diagnostic services accredited by the American College of Radiology. Our surgical services include minimally invasive procedures. Located in the Big Lake area of Central Florida, the hospital combines state-of-the-art practices with a friendly, community-focused atmosphere.
