Pay

Hourly wage estimate: $13.00 – $17.55 per hour. The estimate represents the typical wage range of candidates hired. Actual salary may vary based on specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role. The typical candidate is hired below the midpoint of the range.

About the role

As a Patient Safety Attendant at TriCities Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls, injury, or self‑harm. You will closely monitor their physical and emotional well‑being, communicate concerns in real time, and help the care team respond quickly to improve lives.

Responsibilities

• Watch patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well‑being.
• Identify risks such as falls or self‑harm and promptly alert the care team to intervene quickly.
• Document patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift.
• Honor patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times.
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
