Patient Representative (Full-Time, Days)
Patient Care Support & Communication
Aid providers during patient encounters by supporting accurate documentation in EMRs and maintaining open communication with the care team, patients, and caregivers.
Administrative & Scheduling Duties
- Manage clerical tasks such as scheduling, referrals, phone communication, record preparation, and collection of payments.
- Support billing and insurance inquiries to maintain efficient patient schedules.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, healthcare regulations, and DNV accreditation standards. Collaborate with management to resolve clerical issues and enhance patient service quality.
Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with St. Lawrence Health System and PPM teams on daily operations, educational programs, and process improvements.
- Participate in special projects and promote the organization’s mission and core values.
Required Qualifications
No formal education beyond High School is required. Recent outpatient medical office experience is preferred, along with advanced technical training and/or certification in electronic health record (EHR / EMR) usage and medical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
Formal education beyond High School is preferred. Experience working in a union environment (1199-200B SEIU (CPH)) is a plus.

Physical Requirements
Sedentary work involving sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
Pay Range
$19.46 - $28.55
