Patient Representative

About the role

MDNow Urgent Care Clinic operates Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. You must have flexibility to work during these hours. This position is incentive-eligible.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients in a timely manner
• Follow all Web Check-in procedures
• Answer phone calls to the clinic and provide information or refer questions as needed
• Verify insurance timely and accurately
• Ensure the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are completed
• Review all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collect necessary insurance/demographic information
• Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, accounting for and documenting all forms of payment

Requirements

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred
• Willingness to travel to other clinics in the area for scheduling purposes
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start (required)
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs
