Patient Representative

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients in a timely manner and ensure all Web Check-in procedures are followed.
• Answer phone calls to the clinic and provide information or refer questions as needed.
• Verify insurance accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the occupational client’s preference card is followed for occupational procedures.
• Review all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collect necessary insurance and demographic information.
• Complete the Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, accounting for and documenting all forms of payment.

Requirements

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start (required).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
