Patient Relations Specialist
About the role
Be the first voice patients hear — phone, front desk, and everything in between. Enter new patient demographics accurately in our EMR. Schedule and manage appointments, adjusting for provider capacity and no-show patterns. Collect payments and keep payment methods on file. Route insurance/billing questions to the right team member. Send graduating patients off feeling celebrated (and asked for a review!) Run the front office: phones, fax, kiosk, scanner, EMR document routing. Process discharges and keep records current. Support insurance authorizations, medical record requests, and informed consent tracking. Keep the clinic clean, organized, and running smoothly.
