Patient Relations Assistant/UKHC
Job Summary
The Department of Internal Medicine – Medicine Specialties Clinic seeks an individual to provide front desk registration and scheduling services in a busy Gastroenterology and Pulmonary outpatient clinic practice. Duties include, but are not limited to: registration, copay collection, chart preparation, scheduling appointments for new and returning patients, communicating information with patients via the telephone and in person, and answering telephone. This position supports efficient patient care and clinic initiatives for improving patient attendance and keeping attendance records.

Physical Requirements
- Sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motion (such as typing)
- Walking including pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 10lbs
- Occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs
- Regular exposure to loud noises
- Intermittent exposure to blood borne/airborne pathogens and combative/violent people
- Occasional exposure to cuts and punctures
Shift
8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Other days and hours as needed.
