Duties
The position assists in the daily monitoring of residents, working closely with clinical, education, and other milieu staff. Duties may include but are not limited to, developing life skills, recreation and social activities, and redirecting patient behavior.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and one (1) year of experience as it pertains to the essential duties of the classification.
- Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling one (1) year may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in an adolescent treatment center, with exposure to mentally and/or behaviorally challenged residents, who may exhibit unpredictable behaviors.
- This position may work in an office setting using related office equipment, with exposure to Visual Video Display Terminal and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
- Pushing, pulling, lifting and/or carrying.
