Patient Placement and Transfer Coordinator

Role: Patient Placement and Transfer Coordinator Responsibilities Manage safe and timely patient admissions, transfers, and discharges across hospital units.Assess clinical needs and coordinate with Emergency, ICU, and inpatient teams.Optimize bed utilization to support quality and compassionate care.Use clinical judgment, bed management tools, and effective communication to ensure appropriate patient placement.Support patient throughput and improve patient and provider experience. Qualifications & Skills Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Knowledge of bed management and hospital operations.Ability to work within a team in a culture centered on integrity and accountability.
