Patient Navigator (RN) - Cancer Care
Description
MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for those with more than 2 years of experience. Candidates must be hired into a Full or Part-time RN position.
Requirements
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
- Oncology certification or defined process for achieving certification required.
- Experience working with oncology patients and families preferred.
- Experience in community outreach preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required or must complete BSN within three years of start date.

Schedule
The role begins with developing a strong understanding and confidence in the RN triage function, with the expectation that the nurse will progressively expand into patient navigation responsibilities as they grow within the practice.
