Patient Navigator
This is a full-time position serving as a liaison between patients, providers, and Akumin. Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling exams and obtaining prior authorizations
- Burning CDs and printing reports
- Helping obtain prior patient records for imaging
- Following up on outstanding reports
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- One year experience in a medical or hospital setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Qualifications & Experience
- Diligent attention to detail
- Experience in ensuring ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
- Good customer service skills
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment
