Patient Guest Services Assistant

Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome, and assist patients, guests, and colleagues by providing directions, wheelchairs, and minimal transport.
• Confirm and provide information about appointments, appointment locations, and room numbers.
• Provide concierge services, including internet access and community information.
• Collaborate with leaders to improve patient experience through design and implementation of improvement programs.
• Respond to safety, maintenance, and cleaning needs.
• Coordinate patient needs with other departments during emergencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills: Epic, Outlook, and other internal systems.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and empathy.
• Two years' experience in a customer service role, preferably with face-to-face interactions.

Preferred qualifications

• Associate’s degree.
• Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity, standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds, following standard precautions with personal protective equipment.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay range with a minimum hourly wage of $15.00 and a maximum of $18.44, subject to individual performance and qualifications.

Schedule

Days from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., every 3rd weekend, and two holidays per year.
