Patient Escort/Companion

Responsibilities

• Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, or playing games to brighten their day
• Escort services: Safely escort patients to and from appointments, treatments, and activities, ensuring their timely arrival and departure
• Aid in daily living activities: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed
• Safety and monitoring: Regularly monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to senior staff members
• Maintain a clean environment: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of resident living areas, including custody of personal belongings and property

Requirements

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, patient escort, or related field preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work evenings or nights, and weekends
